CMC has some of the rarest GM F-bodies in the world, and this 2002 Pontiac Trans Am is another one that we are fortunate enough to have in our showroom. This is the Carl Black Pontiac 35th Anniversary Edition GMMG! This car is serial # 18 of only 18 ever built. That's right, this is the last Trans Am Anniversary and the last year the Trans am would ever be built!

Just like the 1970's, high performance dealers ships like Carl Black, Yenko, and Berger to name a few, found a way around the EPA to build high performance cars and sell them at the Dealer. This very last Trans am Collectors Edition was ordered right from the dealership. The original owner bought the silver WS6 Ram air for $32510. Then they had to order the GMMG Anniversary package for an additional $10630. The total window sticker price was a whopping $43240.

This special Trans Am was purchased new at Carl Black Pontiac and Special Ordered by James Evans. The original owner held possession to this Trans am until 2007. We have acquired the car from the owner in 2007. The car reportedly had 6800 miles in 2007 and was still like a new car. The original owner pampered and meticulously maintained the car. The second owner was a collector that had the car in climate controlled storage and drove the car approximately 90 miles. Today the car has 6,895 Miles on the odometer. The car looks, runs, and drives as it did in 2002! The car still has the new car smell and there are no imperfections to report. The chambered exhaust sounds incredible and the wheels and lowered stance makes this special anniversary Trans am a one of a kind!
